Today we launched our WordPress plugin, which was built on top of the new CATS JobSite framework. The announcement can be found here.

The underlying JobSite framework is a standalone MVC-based library designed to connect and interact with the CATS API 2.0. It offers tools to connect to the API and process the responses, controllers to direct traffic from within another tool (such as your website or CMS), templates to separate the display logic, custom exceptions for displaying friendly error pages to normal visitors and debug error pages to administrators, and more.

The JobSite framework is licensed under the GPL v3, so you are free to use and modify it however you see fit. The only limitation is that when you connect to our servers, you are required to adhere to our API's Terms of Service.

We plan to release a standalone version of the JobSite framework in the near future, along with tailored releases for Drupal and Joomla to compliment our WordPress version and to possibly replace our existing API library. In the mean time, you can download the WordPress plugin and all the files in the release other than the cats_cms.php file are part of JobSite.

We've made sure to document the source code thoroughly, so hopefully with just a few modifications it can be customized to your needs quickly and save you valuable development time to work more on the project at hand versus the framework you're building it upon.
