Can't find a new addition (Company/Candidate/Contact) when searching for it:

We keep coming across the same strange problem (it has actually been happening for a long time, but only now is it becoming a big problem). When we add a Candidate, Company or Contact into CATS when we go back to search for them, the new addition doesn't pull up. If you take off all the filters and arrange the data by the newest updated then there it is. We have tried searching using the entire title and just the first part, no matter what we try it doesn't show up. I also knew I was going to write this today, so I decided to see how long it would take, if at all, for an addition to finally be searchable. I entered a Company into CATS this morning, it is now 8pm (almost 12 hours later) and it is still not showing up in a search. Thanks for your help in this situation.

Thanks for the post. We've been working on correcting some indexing issues lately. Basically, it shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes for a resume/candidate to be indexed after you add them. Let us know if you have any ongoing issues with this.

There were no issues with the overnight index of your complete database.

Thanks for the reply. But we are still having troubles.

After I got your reply yesterday I added a Company into CATS "Oconee Medical Center" in SC (if you go look don't be confused if you see 2 others with similar names that do come up this is the only one in SC). At this time, many many hours later (almost 24hrs) it is still not coming up in a search. However, just as I said in my first post, if you take off all the filters and arrange the data by updated you can see that it is there.

Also, one of the recruiters here got an "Event Reminder" sent to her and none of us can pull up the Contact it is about. Again, I took off all filters and looked name by name and finally found the entry.

We really need help with this. One of the biggest problems is that we are a multi-person office and work with other agencies as well. If we are unable to search everything in CATS we could make an error that could cost us thousands of dollars in recruiting fees.

So guess what?! Yup, the Company I wrote about before the weekend, STILL not pulling up in a search! Again, I can take off all filters and scroll down to see it. AND I am searching by one word, 2 words, even copying it from the entry and pasting exactly what is there. Oh, and I just went back to see if the Contact that started this whole thing will now search and nope still not pulling up either! This is SUPER bad! I won't go into details but this really could cost us tens of thousands of dollars (if it hasn't already - how can I be sure)! Please help!

Sorry for the delay in response. Late last week I was digging into your issue further and also a couple other ones that have been brought to our attention.

As we continue to grow, we have found that our searching abilities need to be better scalable. Sparing the technical details, we are revamping the way we handle our indexing and searching on the back end of things. We expect this to be live by end of business today.

I apologize for the inconvenience in the mean time. This will be resolved ASAP.
