Resume Parsing - incorrect resume attached to candidate record
Message

On 7/25 I forwarded 177 resumes from Monster. Upon reviewing a few of the new candidate records, I noticed that another candidate's resume was attached to Candidate Record #7433907. My assistant scheduled an interview and I called the candidate using the resume and it was a very strange conversation due to the fact that I was calling the wrong candidate. (She had emailed to me the resume.)

Have you had any other notices of a similar situation? Or is this simply a fluke?

Thanks!

Angela,

Typically when this happens, the parser is not able to grab enough information would of the resume and registers as a duplicate under and Anonymous Candidate profile (usually). I would assume these would be a small percentage of resumes you could forward in.

Another option for you would be to try our new Resfly Toolbar with the Firefox browser for Monster parsing. That way you can review the information before it goes into the system.

Hello, we are still experiencing problems with the Resume Parser. 1) There are many new candidate records being created WITHOUT a resume file being attached. 2) There are many new candidates records being created with the INCORRECT resume file being attached.

You may find those records with the Status of "Error-Resume Parsing" in our system.

Please advise as to how we should proceed. It is difficult to conduct an interview and interact professionally without having the proper resume data available.

Thanks,
Angela

Angela,

The issue with your account right now would be that you are a Free account and only Professional users have access to this feature.

Hi Tony...... these errors started prior to moving to a "free account". There were no resumes parsed recently.

Please advise as to why such a huge inconsistency in the accuracy of bringing in resumes from Monster.

Thanks,
Angela
